Ella is a filmmaker, photographer, and activist from LA. Themes in her work include queer issues, gun control, and teen angst in the internet age. Her short film "Stereo," which focuses on the arbitrary nature of gender stereotypes, has more than six million hits on Youtube. 

We discuss the ins and out of her creative process, including casting and picking a soundtrack. Ella also suggests some self-care habits, and explains why she had to film at seventeen different locations in just two days.
